Job summary

Grayson Carter and Son Contracting, Inc. is seeking a reliable Fuel Truck driver to safely deliver fuel to machines at job sites daily, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and monitor gauges to ensure proper operation.

The role requires a CDL Class A or B, knowledge of DOT rules, the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, and willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B is required.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
• Physically able to stand, walk, sit, crouch, kneel, climb and lift 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Fuel Truck according to company policy.
• Deliver fuel to each machine at each job site daily.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and replace gaskets, nozzles and other related items as needed.
• Report equipment malfunctions to the Equipment Superintendent.
• Grease and service equipment to ensure reliable operation.
• Monitor gauges and indicators to ensure proper machine function.
• Maintain high quality work and professional relationships with coworkers.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing tasks.
• Represent Grayson Carter and Son Contracting, Inc. professionally.

Job description

• Safely operate Fuel Truck according to company policy
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and replace gaskets, nozzles, and other related articles as necessary
• Report any equipment malfunctions/or concerns to the Equipment Superintendent
• Deliver fuel to each machine at each job site daily
• Grease and help service equipment to ensure consistent operation
• Monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to make sure the machine is functioning properly
• Maintain a high level of quality work at all times
• Maintain good relationships with Technicians, Foreman, Superintendents, Inspectors, Developers, and other co-workers at all times
• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Represent and promote Grayson Carter and Son in a professional and honest manner

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

• CDL Class A or B Required
• Knowledge of DOT Rules and Regulations
• Ability to communicate and convey information effectively
• Must be physically able to stand, walk, sit, crouch, kneel, climb, and periodically lift 75 pounds
• Knowledge of OSHA Standards
• Ability to obtain Arsenal Badge and FBI Badge preferred, but not required
• Dependable transportation
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on all job sites as required
• Work weekends and overtime as needed
• Committed to attending work each day
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
