Sunoco LP seeks a Fuel Terminal Maintenance Worker to perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on terminal and processing equipment, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and reliable fuel distribution operations.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, safety focus, and ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced industrial environment, including nights or weekends as needed.

Qualificações

• Experience in mechanical maintenance in industrial environments (fuel, oil, pump repair or chemical industries).
• Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems and P&ID diagrams.
• Lockout/tagout procedures, hazardous materials handling, and PPE requirements.
• Certifications such as OSHA safety training, HAZMAT, or electrical certification are a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities for quick failures resolution.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, work at heights and in varying weather.
• Keen attention to detail for maintenance, inspections, and safety audits.
• Team player with effective communication in a collaborative environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Preventative maintenance: inspect and service tanks, piping, pumps, valves, and racks for safety and performance.
• Equipment repair: diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in terminal systems.
• Safety compliance: follow OSHA, EPA, and local codes; participate in drills and training.
• Troubleshooting: identify malfunctions and resolve operational problems to minimize downtime.
• Documentation: record maintenance and calibrations in the terminal system.
• Team collaboration: coordinate with operators, engineers, and management to plan downtime.
• Emergency response: assist in fuel spill containment and equipment failure protocols.
• Inspections: regular checks of tanks, pipelines, and related equipment for hazards.
• Inventory management: maintain spare parts, tools, and supplies for maintenance and repairs.
