Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Terminal Operator to join our Terminal Operations team in Newburgh, NY. You will ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of petroleum products while complying with all safety and regulatory standards, and you will actively support calibration, maintenance, and inspections of facility equipment.

This role requires the ability to work outdoors in varying weather, climb tanks for gauging, interact with government agencies, and participate in security protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma.
• Must possess a current, valid driver’s license.
• TWIC credential required or able to qualify.
• Willing to work outdoors in inclement weather and in confined spaces.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, overtime, holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate safe movement, receipt, and shipment of product between pipelines, rail cars, trucks, marine and storage tanks following policies.
• Ensure product transactions are properly measured, documented, and conducted per procedures.
• Perform tank gauging by climbing tanks and reading gauges; conduct quality assurance testing.
• Assist in maintenance and calibration of metering devices, pumps, valves, and related equipment.
• Inspect and document transport trucks, terminal inspections, stock balancing, and reporting.
• Interact with government agencies and manage drivers for safe loading/unloading.
• Perform equipment calibrations, vapor system maintenance, and P&IDs / piping diagrams review.
• Participate in security protocols and safety/environmental programs.
