Job summary

Alutiiq Operations Services, LLC seeks a Fuel Distribution System Mechanic to perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on fuel storage and distribution systems at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, OK. You will interpret manuals, blueprints, and diagrams while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency is required.
• Minimum three (3) years' experience maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting fuel service stations facilities and Bulk Distributions Fuel Systems.
• Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record and proof of valid insurance.
• Must obtain and maintain all necessary licenses/IDs/certifications.
• Ability to solve problems and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with facility/infrastructure codes and standards, as applicable.
• Ability to adapt to changes in technology, DoD regulations, and company standards.
• Proficiency and knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fuel receiving, storage and distribution facilities to detect leaks, corrosion, faulty fittings, and malfunctioning components.
• Lubricate and repack valves; lubricate pumps; replace gaskets and seals; correct pump misalignment.
• Disassemble, align and calibrate gauges and meters; replace components as needed.
• Clean strainers, filters, and verify correct delivery via meters and gauges.
• Maintain and repair pressure regulating systems, tanks and piping as required.
• Complete daily labor sheets detailing work performed, parts used and hours worked.
• Interface with customers; ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Operate company vehicles per policy; follow DoD and OSHA regulations.
