Job summary

Alutiiq LLC has an opening for a Fuel Distribution System Mechanic at Tinker AFB, OK. The role inspects, maintains and repairs fuel storage and distribution systems, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. You will report issues to supervision and document inspections, work orders and hours.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of fuel service experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to obtain necessary credentials. This is a full-time on-site position with a pay rate of $37.21 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three years' experience maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting fuel service stations facilities and bulk distribution fuel systems.
• Valid state driver's license with a good driving record; ability to obtain required licenses/IDs/certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret English language technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Inspects fuel receiving, storage and distribution facilities to detect and correct leakage, corrosion, faulty fittings and malfunctions of mechanical units, meters and gauges.
• Lubricates and repacks valves; lubricates pumps and replaces gaskets and seals.
• Overhauls system components such as pressure regulating valves and meters; disassembles, adjusts, aligns and calibrates gauges or replaces them.
• Removes corrosion and repaints surfaces and performs inspections on CNG units as required; maintains pressure vacuum vents.
• Maintains and repairs electrical/electronic fuels systems and components (jet fuel, gasoline, diesel).
