Job summary

Safeway in Washington state seeks a Fuel Station Manager to lead all aspects of daily fuel station operations. You will train and supervise clerks, ensure friendly customer service, and follow merchandising and safety guidelines to maintain efficient service at the pump and store front.

The role includes managing stock, coordinating deliveries, operating the register, and upholding cleanliness and safety standards across the fuel area.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service as defined by the employer and policy.
• Assist in planning and implementing policies for operating Fuel Stations, including hours and duties.
• Change signs and prices as directed by merchandising.
• Inventories stock and writes fuel station orders; checks orders on arrival.
• Receive gas deliveries and record fuel deliveries on the Fuel Delivery sheet.
• Maintain cleanliness of fuel station area.
• Perform daily safety inspections of tanks and pumps.
• May pump gasoline for customers.
• Transport absorbent material to spills and clean up as needed.
• Restock windshield washer fluid in pump side containers.
• Rotate product and remove out-of-date items.
• May pickup products and transport to Fuel Station area.
• Manage Fuel Station operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
