Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies seeks a Fuel Station Maintenance Technician to service assigned stores in Hutchinson, KS. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety checks on dispensing equipment while ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and company policies.

The role requires driving to multiple locations, managing parts, and supporting other technicians. On-call duties include nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven fuel experience and satisfactory overall performance.
• Maintain manufacturers certifications such as Wayne, Veeder-Root, and Incon.
• Knowledge of NFPA requirements and ability to use control manufacturer software.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Drive independently to stores on a daily basis as assigned.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and procedures.
• Make repairs to systems and identify defects in hanging hardware and dispenser exterior.
• Navigate and investigate electronic controls interfaces and repair dispensing equipment.
• Perform safety checks after fueling incidents and maintain inventory of parts.
• Operate equipment safely and assist other technicians as needed.
• On-call 24/7 for maintenance calls and provide feedback for performance reviews.
