Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Fuel Service Technician to support 25-30 stores within a defined territory. You will troubleshoot and repair fuel center systems, sign/lighting, intercoms, and pumps, while coordinating with store personnel and facility management.

The role requires flexibility to cover 24/7 shifts, with overtime as needed. Responsibilities include servicing Dresser Wayne dispensers, Veeder-Root monitors, and F.E.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required for daily maintenance tasks.
• Electrical experience is needed to troubleshoot systems.
• Wiring diagrams reading ability is essential for diagnostics.
• Willingness to travel independently to multiple stores.

Responsibilities

• Perform service to price sign controllers, lighting controllers and intercom systems.
• Provide preventative maintenance to dispensers, sign/lighting, pumps and monitoring devices in fuel centers.
• Support special fuel center projects and new installations.
• Service Dresser Wayne dispensers, Veeder-Root monitors, and F.E. Petro equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical components and communicate with store personnel and facility management.
• Work assigned schedules including nights, weekends and holidays, with possible overtime.

Job description

Responsible for all fuel service needs for 25 - 30 stores within a certain territory. Troubleshoot and make repairs in a timely manner and communicate with store personnel as well as Facility management and Fuel Lead. Responsible for working a 24 / 7 duty as scheduled. Perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. Responsibilities

• Essential Job Functions:
  • Perform service to price sign controllers, lighting controllers and intercom systems
  • Perform service and preventative maintenance to the stores retail fuel centers consisting of dispensers, sign and lighting, intercom systems, pumps, and monitoring devices
  • Provide support to special fuel center projects
  • Service for Dresser Wayne fuel dispensers, Veeder-Root tank monitors and F.E. Petro pumps and controllers
  • Troubleshoot electrical components
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations

Qualifications

• Desired Previous Job Experience:
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience in Fuel a Plus
  • Knowledge of equipment repairs a plus
• Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • Ability to organize and prioritize
  • Ability to work with other teammates
  • Electrical experience needed
  • Ability to travel independently
  • Overtime may be required at times
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to work a variety of schedules as required (including nights, weekends and holidays)
