Job summary

Sunoco LP is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an inland fuel services facility. You will plan, coordinate and implement maintenance programs for bulk fuel terminal and refinery, oversee API 653 tank cleaning, inspections and repairs, and ensure safety compliance.

Responsibilities include repairing pumps and transfer systems, testing electrical and instrumentation, coordinating projects with contractors, managing inventory, and providing on-call support for off-hours.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years related experience in bulk fuel storage and pipeline operations.
• Solid mechanical knowledge; electrical/instrumentation basics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written).

Responsibilities

• General maintenance repair of pumps, valves and liquid transfer systems.
• Lubricate pumps, motors and valves; maintain log of events.
• Perform testing, repairing, and preventative maintenance on electrical/instrumentation.
• Testing, calibration and repair of plant instrumentation and equipment; ensure safe operations.
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance projects and API 653 tank cleaning/repairs.
