Job summary

Publix is seeking a Fuel Operator, PM – Jacksonville to perform fueling tasks for fleet vehicles and equipment, operate a refueling tanker, and use fuel-management software. The role requires night and weekend availability, lifting up to 40 pounds, and a safety‑first approach to maintain logs and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Be at least 20 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license and authorization to drive a company vehicle.
• Be able to work nights, weekends, holidays.
• Be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Be capable of generating and processing work on a computerized fuel-management system.
• Be able to read, write, and solve math problems.
• Be able to interpret, understand, and follow instructions.
• Must have the ability to work well with others and be a team member.
• Must show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work and commitment to Publix’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Operate a refueling tanker and use specialized computer fuel management equipment.
• Location trailers for fueling and check refrigerated trailer fluid levels.
• Maintain fuel logs and conduct fuel audits.
• Assist in bulk refueling process and clean/detail equipment.
