Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience; willing to train the right individual.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks; familiarity with DraftSight or AutoCAD for 2D drawings.
• Design knowledge of fuel oil handling and piping systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with project managers in execution of projects.
• Be responsible for complete and accurate project engineering design.
• Apply engineering expertise to equipment design, problems solving, and quality improvement. Involves project drawings and bill of materials.
• Size and select components for liquid fuels.
• Utilize SolidWorks to create 3D models and fabrication drawings.
• Generate fabrication BOMs using ERP systems.
• Assist field service engineers in fuel oil equipment startups.
• Improvement of existing manufactured products and manufacturing techniques.
