HF Sinclair Corporation in Sinclair, WY seeks a Lab Technician to conduct physical and chemical testing on refinery process streams, including finished fuels and QC samples. You will certify finished fuels per ASTM specifications and perform routine analyses of hydrocarbons and aqueous samples.

The role requires proficiency with LIMS, strong data entry skills, and the ability to work flexible rotating shifts while upholding safety and quality standards.

Competenze

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent; chemistry degree preferred.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or physical/biological sciences; industrial lab experience beneficial.

Mansioni

• Provide accurate and timely data entry of lab results.
• Proficient with LIMS for sample login, data entry and SQC charting.
• Read and follow analysis procedures and safety standards in English and ASTM methods.
• Assist or perform accurate and repeatable analyses as directed by Lab Manager/ Chemists.
• Participate in proficiency testing and maintain quality control practices.
• Handle sensitive lab instrumentation with proper operation and maintenance.
• Prepare chemical solutions according to standard formulas.
• Follow safety and quality requirements and company policies.
• Attend safety trainings and work shifts safely, with ability to self-manage.
