Job summary

Wawa, Inc. invites students to join the Fuel Operations Internship Program for Summer 2027. This full‑time, 37.5‑hour weekly role runs May 17, 2027 to August 5, 2027 at the Media, PA campus, with a rate of $18 per hour.

Interns gain hands-on experience in fuel and energy operations, data analysis, reporting, and cross‑functional projects. You’ll work four days per week onsite, participate in development opportunities, and deliver dashboards and insights to support business decisions.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Logistics or related field.
• Onsite at Wawa Corporate HQ in Media, PA, four days per week.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Previous internship, project, or leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze fuel, logistics, and business performance data to support profitability and operational decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions, improve processes, and support initiatives.
• Assist with reporting, data validation, process documentation, and system enhancement projects.
• Support EV charging, new fuel initiatives, and retail fuel programs to improve customer experience and performance.
• Build dashboards, reports, and presentations to provide insights for key decisions.
• Contribute to project implementation, testing, and continuous improvement across fuel operations.

Wawa Internship Program Overview The Wawa Internship Program offers students hands‑on experience in a collaborative corporate environment, where they work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful business projects, and build skills that support their academic and professional growth. Throughout the summer, interns participate in professional development and networking opportunities with fellow interns and company leaders. The program culminates in a capstone presentation, where interns showcase key projects, accomplishments, and the impact of their contributions. We are currently seeking three interns to join our Fuel team for Summer 2027.

What You’ll Do

As a Fuel Operations Intern, you’ll gain hands‑on experience supporting Wawa’s Fuel teams.

• Analyze fuel, logistics, and business performance data to support profitability and operational decision‑making.

Basic Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Expected graduation date between Spring 2028 and Spring 2030.
• Ability to work onsite at Wawa Corporate Headquarters in Media, PA, four days per week throughout the internship program.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Previous internship, project, or leadership experience is preferred.
