Position Summary

Join a global engineering team designing and developing advanced fuel injection systems that power modern vehicles. In this role, you’ll take ownership of GDI injector design projects from concept through production readiness - ensuring world-class performance, durability, and manufacturability. You’ll work cross-functionally with manufacturing, testing, and application teams to deliver innovative, reliable solutions that set new benchmarks in fuel system technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead GDI injector design projects from concept through PPAP and production release.
  • Manage Design Validation (DV) testing and ensure readiness for manufacturing launch.
  • Develop, refine, and correlate spray and flow test methods (Baton, Loccioni, OEM correlation).
  • Create and release detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Partner with manufacturing to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and robust product launch.
  • Support application engineering for OEM and aftermarket programs without diverting production resources.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for GDI product issues.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline required.
  • 5+ years of experience in fuel injector design, including 2+ years in GDI systems.
  • Deep understanding of injector geometry, spray pattern control, and fuel system integration.
