Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a Finance professional to join the Fuel and Energy team in Fort Worth. This role focuses on tracking invoices, budgets, and forecasts, with an emphasis on data analysis using Tableau and Excel, and coordination with Fuel Accounting.

You’ll participate in month-end close and support budgeting processes. You’ll collaborate with management to deliver timely insights, maintain financial models, and streamline processes while supporting operation teams and vendors across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2 years of work experience in a relevant finance role
• Experience with financial modeling and analysis is preferred

Responsibilities

• Track and manage invoices, budget, and forecast.
• Assist with month-end close and reconciliation with Fuel Accounting.
• Audit invoices and update Mapper.
• Track transportation gains/losses and reimbursements from vendors.
• Support annual budget process and data collection/analysis with Tableau and Excel.
• Provide training to station operations teams or fuel vendors as needed.
• Provide monthly status updates to management.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as required by management.
