Job summary

Menzies Aviation Limited is hiring for a Fuel Farm Operations role in Austin. You will sample and test products for quality control and perform basic maintenance on facilities, fuel systems, and fueling vehicles.

The job requires a flexible schedule and adherence to safety and uniform guidelines. Key tasks include receiving and dispatching fuels, maintaining records, and supporting technicians with inspections and reports while complying with regulatory and company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License and airport badges/seals as required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to safely lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must pass pre-employment testing including drug testing and a physical.

Responsibilities

• Receives/dispatches jet fuel, gasoline, diesel, avgas and glycol via pipelines and trucks.
• Samples and tests products for quality control and performs inspections of facilities and fuel systems.
• Performs basic maintenance on fueling equipment and vehicles.
• Supports maintenance with reports on hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Conducts routine inspections to meet standards and prevents spills or contamination.
• Keeps logs of fuel transactions, quality control and maintenance activities.

Role Purpose

As a member of the Menzies Aviation Fuel Farm Operating Team, you will be responsible for sampling and testing products for quality control, and performing inspections and basic maintenance on facilities, fuel systems and fueling vehicles.

This individual must adhere to Menzies Aviation uniform guidelines and codes of conduct.

What you will be doing

• Receives/dispatches jet fuel, gasoline, diesel fuel, avgas and glycol via pipelines and trucks.
• Samples and tests products for quality control and performance inspections and basic maintenance on facilities, fuel systems and fueling vehicles.
• Supports Quality Control Technicians with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical reports and preventative maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities/systems including related equipment onfueling vehicles.
• Performs routine and periodic inspections in compliance with company, customer, government and industry standards
• Transfers product and monitors storage tanks, pipelines and related equipment to ensure that they are in good working order to prevent spills, releases, overfills and product contamination
• Makes required log entries of fuel transactions, quality control, and maintenance

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver's License. Possess/maintain a valid driver’s license and other FFA Airport required identification/seals or authorizations.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to safely lift up to 70 pounds
• Must pass all pre-employment testing to include drug testing and a physical
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required airports and customs badges/seals.
