Prairieland FS, Inc. is seeking a Petroleum Delivery Specialist in Warrenton, MO to transport and deliver fuels and lubricants to commercial customers. A valid CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements is required, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The role involves operating tanker trucks, maintaining routes, and communicating with customers. Overtime, commissions, and bonuses may apply; base pay is $16–$18 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Basic mechanical skills for vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Familiarity with petroleum products, fuel storage, and handling procedures is a plus.
• Prior experience in petroleum equipment maintenance, mechanical repair, or a related field preferred.
• Understanding of fuel dispensers, tank monitoring systems, and petroleum handling regulations.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required for loading and unloading.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with teammates at all levels.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Operate tanker trucks and transport petroleum products to customers efficiently and safely.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• Comply with DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations for hazardous materials transportation.
• Establishes and follows a structured route system in the delivery territory and schedules.
• Maintain professional communication with customers to confirm deliveries and address concerns.
• Load and unload fuel while adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
• Follow all fuel handling, spill prevention, and emergency response procedures.
• Record sales and delivery information on daily logs and invoices.
• Maintain a prospect list and call on prospective customers to solicit new business.
• Prepare order forms and sales contracts and communicate marketing programs.
