Job summary

Prairieland FS, Inc. is seeking a Petroleum Delivery Specialist to transport and deliver petroleum products to commercial, industrial, and agricultural customers. A valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements is required, along with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The role involves operating tanker trucks, maintaining routes, and providing professional customer communication. Compensation includes base pay with potential overtime, commissions, and bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic mechanical skills for vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Familiarity with petroleum products, fuel storage and handling procedures a plus.
• Prior experience in fuel delivery, trucking or hazardous material transport preferred.
• Understanding of fuel dispensers, tank monitoring systems, and petroleum handling regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate tanker trucks and transport petroleum products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Comply with DOT/OSHA/EPA regulations for hazardous materials transport.
• Maintain route system and ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate professionally with customers and address inquiries.
• Load and unload fuel adhering to safety policies.
• Follow fuel handling, spill prevention, and emergency procedures.
• Record sales and delivery information daily.
• Develop a prospect list and solicit new business.
• Prepare order forms and sales contracts.
• Promote FS credit / Agri-Finance in sales.
• Submit reports to management and communicate territory activities.
