Job description

Walthall Oil Company is seeking a full-time Fuel Tank Wagon Delivery Driver.

The responsibilities include:

1. Pre and post-trip inspections
2. Loading truck compartments at loading racks and terminals
3. Safely delivering fuel to various locations, including above and below ground tanks, generators, construction equipment, refrigeration units, trains, and other engines
4. Following FMCSA, State, and DOT safety regulations
5. Maintaining clear communication with dispatch
6. Performing basic math calculations and using a calculator
7. Driving manual transmission vehicles
8. Handling hoses and containers, including bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds
9. Climbing onto trucks for fueling and lubrication tasks
10. Rolling heavy drums and troubleshooting delivery issues
11. Being on-call for emergency deliveries, including major holidays

Minimum requirements:

• Class A or B CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsement (hazmat not required)
• Ability to operate manual transmission trucks
• Successful completion of pre-employment and periodic drug tests
• Background checks
• Pre-employment DOT physical and DOT card
• Clean driving record
