Job summary

Crowley Maritime Corporation in Palmer, Alaska seeks a CDL Class A driver to load and unload fuel along designated routes, ensuring safety and on-time deliveries. You will drive, inspect, and maintain records for compliance while working a flexible schedule.

Ideal candidates have two years of Class A experience, Hazmat/Tanker endorsements, a current medical card, and the ability to obtain TWIC and an LCV certificate. Light maintenance and terminal tasks are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or experience in lieu of education.
• Two years of experience operating Class A equipment.
• CDL Class A with X (Tanker) and Doubles/Triples endorsements; FMCSA rules apply.
• Current medical card and ability to obtain TWIC.
• LCV certificate or ability to obtain it in introductory period.

Responsibilities

• Drive a commercial motor vehicle which requires a Class A CDL.
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving to maneuver in difficult conditions.
• Transport fuel safely from load racks to retail and customer sites.
• Inspect truck for defects; submit DOT records as required.
• Perform light maintenance and terminal/warehouse tasks as needed.
