Job summary

Crowley is seeking a fuel attendant in Alaska to perform daily vehicle inspections, DVIR submission, and terminal operations support. You will inspect facilities before transfers, conduct fuels quality testing, and assist with maintenance and inventory control of bulk fuel assets.

The role involves delivering and receiving fuel to and from company and customer tanks, providing customer service, and ensuring safety compliance in all weather conditions. Training may include HAZWOPER certification.

Qualifications

• Requires Class B CDL with Hazmat Endorsement and Alaska driver’s license.
• Minimum one year of experience driving straight trucks.
• Must be able to wear a half-face respirator and work outdoors in all types of weather.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily vehicle inspections and submits DVIR to Fleet Maintenance.
• Inspections of facilities prior to transfer operations.
• Performs Fuels Quality testing per TOM.
• Assists with equipment and facility maintenance and housekeeping.
• Manages inventory control of bulk fuel tanks and trucks.
• Delivers and receives fuel to/from company tanks, customers, vessels, barges, and aircraft.
• Performs customer service activities including reconciling pump readings and charges.
• Acts as first responder to oil spill incidents.
• Follows all safety rules; may work overtime as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Skills

Class B CDL with Hazmat Endorsement

Experience driving straight trucks

Alaska driver's license

HAZWOPER certification (preferred)

Outdoor work in all weather

Respirator use

Stair climbing 50 ft
