Alexa Energy is seeking a reliable Fuel Delivery Driver to serve Reading, PA, delivering home heating oil to residential and commercial customers. The role emphasizes safety, on-time delivery, and excellent customer service.

Candidates should hold a CDL Class B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, maintain a clean MVR, and be available for early mornings and weekends during the winter season. Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Clean driving record with a satisfactory MVR.
• Prior fuel delivery or tanker truck driving experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe fuel handling procedures.
• Ability to work early mornings and weekends in wintertime busy season.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a fuel delivery truck to transport and deliver home heating oil to residential and commercial customers
• Follow planned delivery routes efficiently while adhering to all DOT and safety regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working order
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries on in-truck delivery software
• Handle fuel transfer equipment, hoses, and meters with care and in compliance with safety standards
• Provide courteous, professional customer service during each delivery stop
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and report any vehicle maintenance issues, spills, or safety concerns promptly
