Job summary

Tevis - Modern Comfort in Waynesboro, PA is seeking a CDL Class B Energy Delivery Driver to serve residential and commercial customers. You will be the company’s on-site representative, delivering heating oil and upholding safety standards.

This role requires DOT compliance, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and the ability to load/unload 2,800–4,500 gallons. Overtime and some weekend work are possible during the heating season.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years driving experience preferred
• Class B CDL required
• Hazmat endorsement required
• Tanker endorsement required
• Basic math and computer skills
• High level of customer service focus
• Clean driving record
• Current CTEP or ability to obtain certification
• Ability to work independently in all weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
• Repetitive lifting up to 40 lbs, occasionally up to 60 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs
• Ability to back a truck into driveways
• Comply with random DOT drug/alcohol testing

Responsibilities

• Participate in 24-hour emergency on-call rotation

The Energy Delivery Driver is the Company’s customer-facing representative of the Company in the delivery of product to residential and commercial tanks. Local deliveries, home daily.

$25-$30 per hour.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years Driving Experience Preferred
• Class B Commercial Driver’s License
• Hazmat Endorsement
• Tanker Endorsement
• Basic mathematical skills and knowledge of computers
• High level of customer service focus
• Clean driving record
• Current CTEP or ability to obtain certification
• Ability to work independently in all weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
• Repetitive lifting of approximately 40lbs.
• Lifting up to 60 lbs. and pushing or pulling up to 100 lbs. (occasionally)
• Bending, kneeling, twisting, crouching, walking, sitting for long periods
• Tolerate heating oil odor/fumes
• Ability to back truck into driveways
• Comply with random DOT drug and/or alcohol testing

• Participate in 24-hour emergency on-call rotation.
