Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures, including simple math.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work in a variety of temperatures, including cooler, freezer, and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with quick and efficient check-out experience.
• Process and handle monetary transactions (cash, check, gift card, credit/debit).
• Follow regulations for tobacco, lottery, and alcohol transactions.
• Follow all safe food handling requirements.
• Maintain fuel pumps, islands, and related documentation for Gas Mart operations.
• Follow emergency response protocols for spills and hazardous materials.
• Keep sidewalks clear for safety.
• Answer customer questions about location, price, and merchandise specs.
• Restock merchandise and maintain stock levels.
• Open and close the store and manage overall security.
• Complete store cleaning and sanitation tasks in all areas.
• Set up displays per company directives.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty programs and credit card.
