Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies in Newton, KS is hiring a Fuel Center Attendant to assist customers, operate the register, and maintain a clean and safe service area. You will pump gas, complete daily inspections, process transactions, handle reports, and follow all safety guidelines while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

This role supports emergency procedures, stock recovery, spills cleanup, and adherence to all corporate policies to ensure a positive shopping

Qualifications

• Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.

Responsibilities

• Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
• Pump gas
• Complete daily tour and inspection
• Fill out incident and security reports
• Clean up fuel spills and complete Fuel Spill Report
• Recover displays; maintain cleanliness of department
• Perform cashier functions
• Answer telephones
• Comply with corporate policies
• Comply with all safety guidelines and standards
• Promote and follow company initiatives
• Maintain knowledge of emergency plans numbers and procedures
• Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment.
