Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Gas Station Attendant to provide superior customer service at the fuel center and ring up sales in accordance with company standards. You will assist customers, manage the cash register, monitor fuel pumps, and maintain clean, safe facilities.

Education of a high school level or equivalent is preferred; prior gas station experience is not required as on‑the‑job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills and polite, efficient interactions with customers.
• Ability to handle cash, make change, and balance cash drawer.
• Basic math skills for prices, discounts and totals.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service at the fuel center.
• Ring up sales and assist customers with purchases.
• Maintain cash drawer and handle payments accurately.
• Stock and arrange merchandise and keep fuel pumps clean and functioning.
• Clean restrooms, windows, and public areas; restock supplies as needed.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation and company policies.
