Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Gas Station Attendant to deliver friendly customer service and assist customers with purchases at the fuel center. You will handle ringing up sales, manage cash, and maintain cleanliness and supplies across the store areas.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety standards, proper cash handling, and teamwork with coworkers. On-the-job training is provided and equal opportunity employment is practiced.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred or equivalent.
• Gas Station Attendant experience preferred; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to follow customer service procedures and interact with customers.
• Basic math and cashiering skills.
• Ability to use the cash register and make change.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions.
• Ring up all merchandise and handle payments; maintain cash drawer and receipts.
• Receive and check in merchandise; stock shelves and fill displays.
• Restroom cleaning and restroom supply replenishment; keep area tidy.
