Job summary

Harris Teeter is looking for a friendly Gas Station Attendant to deliver fast, courteous service at our Grey Fox Run fuel center. You will ring up merchandise, manage the cash drawer, and assist customers with purchases while keeping pumps running safely.

The role requires high school or equivalent, on-the-job training, and strong math and communication skills. You will help stock displays, clean facilities, and follow all safety policies while representing Harris Teeter’s standards.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Gas Station Attendant experience preferred; on-the-job training provided.
• Able to handle cash and operate a cash register.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math skills to calculate prices and make change.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and assist customers.
• Ring up merchandise and handle payments.
• Monitor and control fuel pumps to ensure safe, fast service.
• Maintain cash drawer and accountability for cash, coupons, checks, and receipts.
• Receive and stock merchandise, fill displays.
• Keep restrooms clean and stocked; refill towels and soap.
• Clean windows and store areas; manage trash.
• Follow all laws and store policies.
