Job summary

Kroger is hiring at our Michigan fuel center to assist customers and manage the cash register, while keeping the site clean and orderly. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include pumping gas, completing tours and inspections, filing incident reports, and supporting display recovery. You will also handle phones and assist with daily operations in line with company policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Any related experience.
• Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure.

Responsibilities

• Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
• Pump gas
• Complete daily tour and inspection
• Fill out incident and security reports
• Clean up fuel spills and complete Fuel Spill Report
• Recover displays; maintain cleanliness of department
• Perform cashier functions
• Answer telephones
• Comply with corporate policies
• Comply with all safety guidelines and standards
• Promote and follow company initiativesMaintain knowledge of emergency plans numbers and procedures
• Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
