Job summary

Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Puget Sound region seeks an Inspector Integral Fuel Cells A to join our QA team. The role requires hands-on inspection of wing fuel cell components, verifying drawings, plans, and workmanship during assembly.

You will perform functional tests, document discrepancies, ensure proper sealing and finishes, and maintain records. This position is 100% onsite and falls under IAM-751 collective bargaining; relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quality Inspector.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and crawl through tight openings.
• Completion of Fall Protection Training is required.
• Respirator certification is an asset.
• Requires good stamina for long periods of standing and movement.

Responsibilities

• Inspect wing fuel cells to ensure drawings and revisions are used.
• Crawl through a 10x18 inch opening to access fuel cells.
• Verify parts per drawings using precision measuring tools and plans.
• Inspect electrical and plumbing assemblies for compliance.
• Witness and document functional tests for leaks per specifications.
• Identify and document discrepancies citing the drawing requirements.
• Audit materials handling and ensure correct sealants are used.
• Maintain QA records and apply acceptance on work instructions.
