Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Fuel Business Manager to oversee Americas fuel accounts, manage customer relationships, and guide manufacturing and engineering services. This remote role reports to the Fuel Business Director, Americas Nuclear Fuel, and collaborates with global teams to deliver value.

The position emphasizes account planning, pricing strategy, and cross-functional collaboration to exceed customer expectations across PWR and BWR fuel solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in sales, business, engineering or operations with progression.
• Experience with financials: sales, margin, OE; ability to affect EBITDA.

• Lead Sales Process, adopt Conceptual Selling, win-win business.
• Monitor forecasting accuracy, Orders Entered, Sales, EBITDA and Margin as sold.
• Manage the Customer relationship as the Voice of the Customer inside WEC.
• Maintain opportunities in D365 for short- and long-term planning.
• Develop account plans and capture plans with partners.
• Set Target Price/Value Price and Target Cost; steer offers.

About The Role

As a Fuel Business Manager you will be responsible and accountable for the relationship with the PWR and BWR Fuel Customers in Americas in all fuel and component related matters. Global Markets, Fuel Solutions Managers, Contract Managers, and other internal functions collaborate to accomplish this, promoting win-win business opportunities and nurturing Customer partnerships.

You will report to the Fuel Business Director, Americas Nuclear Fuel. This is a remote role.

Key Responsibilities

The Americas Nuclear Fuel Business Manager (FBM) is responsible for fuel account management and sales for Customers in Americas. The FBM's responsibilities include fuel manufacturing, core/fuel engineering services, rod cluster control assemblies, and control rod blades. The detailed responsibilities include;

• Lead Sales Process, adopt Conceptual Selling, win-win business
• Monitor sales parameters including forecasting accuracy, Orders Entered (OE), Sales, EBITDA and Margin as sold (MAS)
• Manage the Customer relationship, be the Voice of the Customer inside WEC, and the main point of interface with the Customer
• Understand the Customer needs, identify business opportunities, provide input for business planning and maintain these in D365 for both the short- and long-term
• Partnership management, follow up on and maintaining productive, and harmonious relationships with partners
• Work together with Fuel Solutions Managers to identify unique products or core/fuel engineering solutions to exceed Customer expectations
• Develop the fuel manufacturing, core/fuel engineering and control rod blade specific parts of the Customer Account Plan
• Develop opportunity specific Capture Plans
• Set Target Price/ Value Price and Target Cost
• Steer offer process, and Value Proposition

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline
• 7+ years of experience in sales, business, engineering or operations with increasing progression, complexity and levels
• Experience with financials in general (relationship of sales, margin and OE), the generation of financial plans and how to positively affect margin/EBITDA

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $130,400 to $163,000 per year.
