The successful candidate will fuel vehicles, maintain fuel inventory, and conduct vehicle inspections. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Three or more years of related work experience preferred
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
• Customer service skills; ability to understand customer communication
• Understanding of computer hardware and software, especially word processing, spreadsheets, and email; ability to understand codes and instructions, basic computer skills, and data entry
• Dependability and thoroughness; flexible schedule including shift work, weekends, holidays
• Ability to work at different locations
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Flexibility and self-drive to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent time management
• Must be 18 or older
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills
• Valid CDL Class A preferred
• This is a DOT safety-regulated position requiring driving Ryder vehicles. Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months, pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, and background checks, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years. Safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Fuel vehicles; record activity; maintain fuel and DEF inventory; check oil and tire pressure
• Move heavy-duty vehicles; wash and detail vehicles; wash windows
• Perform multi-point inspections on inbound units as per policies
• Report service issues to the shop
• Perform minor maintenance such as tire repairs and wheel alignment
• Assist with facility maintenance and environmental compliance
• Maintain fuel island area to Six Sigma standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
