Immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Fueler Service Technician. We are seeking the right Fuel Island Attendant to join us at Ryder in Normal, Illinois.

Compensation and Schedule:

• Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, Weekends OFF
• Hours: Second Shift 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Three or more years of related work experience preferred
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• Customer service skills and ability to understand customer communication
• Basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and understanding codes and instructions
• Dependability and flexibility to work various schedules, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to work at different locations and build professional relationships
• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Must be 18 years or older

• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
• This is a safety-sensitive position requiring:
• Ability to obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
• Passing Ryder drug test, DOT physical, Ryder road test, background, and motor vehicle checks

Responsibilities:

• Fuel vehicles, record activity, maintain inventory, check oil and tire pressure
• Move, wash, and detail vehicles; check windows
• Perform multi-point inspections and report issues
• Perform minor maintenance, tire repairs, and wheel alignment
• Assist with facility maintenance and environmental compliance
• Maintain fuel island area to Six Sigma standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
