Job summary

WAI Global in Southaven, Mississippi, is seeking a FTZ Coordinator to oversee day-to-day administration of the Foreign Trade Zone at the Southaven distribution center. Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in logistics, customs compliance, import operations, inventory control, distribution, or a related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify data and inventory discrepancies and follow issues through resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional interaction with CBP officers and external service providers.
• Ability to work independently onsite while maintaining regular communication with leadership located elsewhere.
• Experience with FTZ software and familiarity with FTZ procedures and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day FTZ operations at the Southaven facility and ensure transactions are completed accurately and on time.
• Use FTZ software to process admissions, removals, transfers, inventory movements, and other FTZ transactions.
• Maintain accurate FTZ records and reconcile physical inventory to system inventory.
• Coordinate with receiving, shipping, warehouse, and inventory teams to follow FTZ procedures during inbound/outbound movements.
• Review transaction exceptions and coordinate corrective actions with the appropriate teams.
• Serve as the primary onsite contact for CBP during facility visits, inspections, and requests for records.
• Maintain audit-ready FTZ records and promptly provide documentation for CBP filings and approvals.
• Monitor data interfaces and issue resolution between WAI systems and FTZ platform; escalate as needed.
• Perform routine inventory reconciliations and generate FTZ reports and management metrics.
• Collaborate with Director of Logistics and other stakeholders; assist with training on FTZ procedures.
• Recommend process improvements to strengthen compliance and efficiency.
