Job summary

FTZ World Services LLC, a division of Expeditors, is seeking an FTZ Administration, Operations, and Compliance Review Specialist to provide daily oversight of FTZ transactions and administer compliance programs.

The role requires 2+ years FTZ/import experience, CBP form familiarity (e-214, 7512, 216), and strong communication. Training on FTZ procedures will be provided; some client travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years FTZ and import experience in FTZ manufacturing operations.
• Experience creating 7512 in-bonds and understanding of HTSUS classifications.
• Working knowledge of logistics activities including import activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of working with little supervision.
• Knowledge of logistics terminology.

Responsibilities

• Review or prepare FTZ admissions (e-214).
• Review or prepare withdrawals for exportation and IT (7512).
• Review or prepare withdrawals for consumption with designated Customs Broker.
• Review or prepare withdrawals for bonded warehouses and zone-to-zone transfers.
• Maintain proper record keeping for FTZ operations.
• Operate the FTZ inventory control and record-keeping system.
• Coordinate customs activities with Brokers, Forwarders, and logistics providers.
• Monitor FTZ operations end to end and report to management.
• Provide annual FTZ reports and maintain compliance with regulations.
