Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, headquartered in Salina, KS, is seeking a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Analyst to join the Corporate Purchasing team. The analyst will support daily FTZ operations, ensure compliance with CBP, FTZ Board, and Census regulations, and collaborate with customs brokers, warehousing, and logistics to track and report imports/exports.

This salaried, on-site role runs Monday–Thursday 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related fields.
Experience in logistics, customs compliance, supply chain, or international trade.
Knowledge of import/export processes and customs documentation.
Familiarity with CBP regulations and FTZ operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and submit FTZ and customs documentation.
Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure accurate import filings and entries.
Maintain FTZ inventory records and perform reconciliations.
Monitor inbound, outbound, and transferred shipments for compliance.
Review shipment and inventory data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain records and documentation to support audits and reporting.
Work with warehouse, logistics, and internal teams to support efficient movement of goods.
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
Support audits, process improvement initiatives, and other duties as assigned.
