Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, headquartered in Salina, KS, seeks an FTZ Analyst to join our Corporate Purchasing team. The role supports the FTZ and ensures compliance with CBP, FTZ Board, and other agencies, working with brokers, warehouses, and internal teams.

The position is on-site at our Salina CE facility with standard hours Monday–Thursday 7:00–17:00 and Friday 7:00–11:00, focused on accurate filings, inventory records, and audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent combo of education and experience.
• Experience in logistics, customs compliance, supply chain or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of import/export processes, inventory management, and customs docs.
• Familiarity with CBP regulations and FTZ operations preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit FTZ and customs documentation.
• Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure accurate filings.
• Maintain FTZ inventory records and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor shipments to ensure FTZ and customs compliance.
• Review data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain records to support audits and reporting requirements.
• Work with warehouse, logistics, and internal teams to move goods efficiently.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Support audits and process-improvement initiatives.
