WOW! in Denver seeks an Engineer II, PON to take FTTH projects from design through deployment, delivering reliable connections to communities we serve.

You will be a technical specialist for an OLT platform, own configurations, troubleshooting, and best practices, and collaborate with Field Ops, the NOC, and Customer Care to resolve issues.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in fiber/PON engineering, hands-on OLT experience (Calix, Nokia, or Adtran/DZS), Linux familiarity, and CCNA preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in fiber access/PON engineering.
• Hands-on experience with a specific OLT platform (Calix, Nokia, or Adtran/DZS).
• Solid understanding of XGS-PON and fiber access architecture.
• Familiarity with Linux OS.
• CCNA certification (preferred, not required) or equivalent networking experience.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take projects from design to deployment.
• Design, test, deploy PON/FTTH projects through handoff.
• Own configuration and troubleshooting for the OLT platform.
• Develop BOMs and coordinate with vendors.
• Resolve escalations with Field Ops, NOC, and Care.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.
