Job summary
Jobot is seeking an experienced Permanent OSP Quality Engineer to design, develop, and optimize Outside Plant (OSP) network infrastructure for FTTH/FTTB projects. You will leverage ArcGIS and GEospacial tools to ensure high-quality, reliable network solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams across challenging FTTH/FTTB initiatives.
The role requires strong quality checks, audits, and training delivery to uplift the OSP team's capabilities, while staying current with industry trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, GIS or related field.
- 5+ years in OSP engineering focused on FTTH/FTTB projects.
- Experience with ArcGIS and GEospacial tools.
- Ability to develop and implement OSP design standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement OSP design standards and procedures.
- Conduct regular quality checks on OSP projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on FTTH and FTTB projects.
- Utilize ArcGIS and GEospacial tools for spatial data management and analysis.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the OSP team and ensure best practices.
- Audit OSP projects to verify compliance with design standards and quality requirements.
- Monitor OSP network performance and drive optimization.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the OSP team's skills.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends to improve OSP design and quality.
