In this role, you'll be responsible for coordinating daily shipment requests via phone and email, addressing and resolving any issues that arise, and proactively communicating discrepancies. You will have the opportunity to build in-depth knowledge of the dynamic shipping market while navigating our proprietary technology and supporting our existing customer base.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities & Key Qualities:

• The coordinator will attend in-house training for a minimum of one month at our Spring, TX, office.
• Will remain an in-office role until management agrees that hybrid role can commence.
• Track shipments and resolve issues between customers, carriers, and the sales team.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Monitor and respond to daily emails and phone calls.
• Quote multiple transit modes (Expedited, FTL, PTL) and offer proactive solutions.
• Build, source, and schedule shipments; daily bidding on our customer’s online portals.
• Negotiate, dispatch, and assign carriers with a sense of urgency.
• Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and colleagues.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with professional phone and email etiquette.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational, planning, and execution skills.
• Self-motivated, critical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Cross-train in other logistics functions as needed.
• Participate in team meetings to foster productivity and efficiency.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Punctual and reliable with good attendance.
