Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service‑oriented Server to join our team. The role emphasizes hospitality, respect, and authentic service across a growing portfolio of properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-high school education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Seat guests and take accurate food orders.
• Monitor food distribution and ensure correct delivery and appealing presentation.
• Check station before/during/after shifts for clean setup.
• Adhere to liquor regulations for service to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Know menu items, preparation methods, and service procedures.
• Total checks, present to guests, and process payments.
• Assist with bussing tables.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Seat guests and take accurate food orders.
• Monitor food distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct recipients and that food is properly prepared and presented, and that buffet displays remain appealing.
• Check station before, during, and after shifts for proper set‑up and cleanliness.
• Abide by all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Be familiar with all menu items, their preparation, and service procedures.
• Total checks, present to guests, and accept payment.
• Assist with bussing tables.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of high school education; post‑high school education preferred.
• Minimum of one year in a hotel/restaurant serving role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Team player.
• Ability to multi‑task.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
• Operational knowledge of equipment such as cash registers and calculators.
• Basic mathematical skills needed to make change and give refunds.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
