Job summary

The Carriages of Rochester is growing our TEAM and we are looking for exceptional RN/LPNs to provide high-quality, holistic nursing care in our memory care community. You will lead licensed and non-professional staff in delivering direct resident care during shifts 6:30am to 10:30pm.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse with active state license.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with memory care is a plus.

• Excellent physical condition and stamina.
• Ability to handle stress with compassion.

Responsibilities

• Take and record measurements of vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc).
• Observe patients to identify progress and medication effects.
• Assist patients with daily activities (eating, bathing, etc).
• Administer injections and prescribed medications.
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
• Communicate with patients’ families to provide information and guidance.

RN/LPN

The Carriages of Rochester is growing our TEAM and we are looking for exceptional individuals to fill RN/LPN position. We take pride in providing our Residents with quality care, sensitivity, and kindness while respecting their independence.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide high-quality, holistic nursing care in accordance with nursing practice of professional nursing. You will lead licensed and non-professional staff in the delivery of direct resident care and support functions. Working with Memory Care is a must. Shifts will range from 3 to 8 hours at a time between the hours of 6:30am to 10:30pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proven experience as licensed nurse.
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with assisted living procedures.
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology.
• Knowledge of Point Click Care.
• Good Physical condition and stamina.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and able to handle stress.
