Job summary

USPI is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse for our ambulatory surgery center in Tennessee. You will prepare and recover patients from surgery, perform post-anesthesia assessments, and deliver high-quality patient care. Strong nursing judgment, communication skills, and professional licensure are required. PACU or Critical Care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and recover patients from surgery by conducting thorough assessments and ensuring patient comfort.
• Provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia or sedation; assess, plan, implement and evaluate for discharge.
• Demonstrate strong nursing judgment and communication to support patient and family needs.

As a FT RN, you will play a critical role in preparing and recovering patients from surgery by conducting thorough assessments, ensuring patient comfort, and delivering exceptional care. The RN will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Qualifications
