Job summary

Aurora Valley Care Skilled Nursing & Rehab (a Caldera Care facility) in Spokane Valley, WA is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time day, evening, or night shift. You will provide nursing care, administer medications, complete assessments, educate residents and families, and coordinate with the care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Current LPN license required with multistate eligibility and Suicide Prevention Certificate.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license.
• Multistate license must include the 6-Hour Suicide Prevention Certificate.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities.
• In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations.
• First aid and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients on assigned unit.
• Administer and record medications/treatments as ordered.
• Complete nursing assessments, evaluations, progress notes, and alert charting as necessary.
• Educate and provide health care instructions to residents/families as necessary.
• Collaborate with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities.
• Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients as necessary.
• Communicate with Providers and nurse management regarding patients' condition, changes, medications, vitals, etc.
• Provide direct care to residents as needed.
• Direct unit staff as necessary.
• Report to unit Nurse Manager all resident and staff issues/concerns as needed.

Pay Range: $38-$43 DOE

FT Position

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients on assigned unit
• administer and record medications/treatments as ordered
