Job summary

Aurora Valley Care Skilled Nursing & Rehab (a Caldera Care facility) is seeking a registered nurse for full-time day shifts. The role involves delivering nursing care, administering medications, completing assessments, and educating residents and families.

You will collaborate with a care team and support admission, transfer, and discharge processes. Ideal candidates hold an RN license with required certifications, including a 6-hour Suicide Prevention certificate for multistate licenses.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients on assigned unit.
• Administer and record medications/treatments as offered.
• Complete nursing assessments, evaluations, progress notes, and charting as necessary.
• Educates and provides health care instructions to residents/families as necessary.
• Collaborates with team in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities.
• Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge of patients as necessary.
• Communicate with providers and nurse management regarding patients' condition, medications, vitals, etc.
• Provide direct care to residents as needed.
• Direct unit staff as necessary.
• Report to Unit Nurse Manager all resident and staff issues/concerns as needed.
• Serve as Charge Nurse as scheduled.

Pay Range: $45-53

FT Position

RN Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients on assigned unit
• Administer and record medications/treatments as offered
• Complete nursing assessments, evaluations, progress notes, and alert charting as necessary
• Educates and provides health care instructions to residents/families as necessary
• Collaborates with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities
• Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients as necessary
• Communicate with providers and nurse management regarding patients' condition, changes, medications, vitals, etc.
• Provide direct care to residents as needed
• Direct unit staff as necessary
• Report to direct supervisor (Unit Nurse Manager) all resident and staff issues/concerns as needed
• Charge Nurse as scheduled

RN Qualifications and Skills:

• Current and valid RN license
  • Multistate licenses must be accompanied by 6-Hour Suicide Prevention Certificate
