The Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak is looking for a FT - Overnight Security Supervisor to join our amazing Security Team!

Hours: Overnight - 11pm - 7:30am - shifts including weekends and holidays

Role Overview

The Overnight Security Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the Resort, its guests, visitors, and Team Members, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. This role oversees security operations while also protecting and enforcing rules with professionalism and composure, effectively handling emergencies, misconduct, disturbances, and threats to life and property.

Supportive Functions

In addition to essential functions, this position may perform a combination of the following, with the percentage of time dedicated to each determined by management:

  • Supervise investigations performed on shift.
  • Provide accurate information to inquirers regarding directions and hours of operation.
  • Receive, record, and secure found property; assist guests with lost property inquiries.
  • Assist guests with door lock and safe issues using electronic devices.
  • Escort guests and employees to parking lots as required.
  • Make staffing and discipline recommendations.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Thorough knowledge of building layouts, function rooms, and surrounding area.
  • Effective communication skills, patience, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to listen, speak, read, and write English clearly.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, and perform essential functions for the shift's duration.
  • Hearing and visual acuity to detect emergencies.
  • Physical tasks including bending, kneeling, walking, and climbing stairs/ladders.
  • Ability to work within extreme temperature ranges.
Required Skills and Abilities

Must communicate effectively in English, maintain professionalism, and be a team player. Knowledge of the local area is helpful. Ability to handle conflicts, perform basic math, and use computer systems accurately is essential.

Performance Standards

Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction, work habits, and safety/security protocols. Be adaptable, solve routine problems, and seek help when needed.

Adhere to security policies, especially regarding key control, chemical use, and hazard reporting.
