Job summary

The Addison of Narcoossee, a Sonida Senior Living community in St. Cloud, FL, is seeking an LPN/LVN to support resident care, supervise nursing assistants, and administer medications according to physician orders.

This role is on-site within an Assisted Living and Memory Care setting. Qualified candidates must hold an active LPN/LVN license and have at least 1 year of nursing experience, with current, unrestricted licensure.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN and maintain current licensure.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience is required.
• Current, unencumbered licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants per regulations.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Provide reports/recommendations about shift activities as required.
• Ensure adequate medication, supply and equipment is on hand; report needs.
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions.

LPN/LVN Responsibilities Include

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents. Report needs to the nursing supervisor
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience required
• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure
