Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time, night shift Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at West Tennessee State Penitentiary in Henning, TN. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.

The position requires TN LPN licensure (or ability to obtain), CPR certification, and eligibility for a security clearance. Base rate ranges from $31-$38 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

We are currently seeking a full-time, night shift Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at West Tennessee State Penitentiary located in Henning, Tennessee.

The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs.

Base rate ranges from $31-$38 per hour.

Qualifications

• Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required


• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)


• Corrections experience not required


• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Shift hours are from 7:00 pm – 7:30 am, three shifts a week and rotating weekends
