Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join West Tennessee State Penitentiary in Henning, TN. This night shift role runs 5:30 pm–6:00 am, 3×12-hour days with rotating weekends. You will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the supervision of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.

Requirements include Tennessee LPN license or ability to obtain, current CPR, and the ability to obtain security clearance. Corrections experience is not required.

Qualifications

• TN LPN license or ability to obtain license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background).

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Work under direction of RNs, medical and psychiatric staff.

We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at West Tennessee State Penitentiary located in Henning, Tennessee.

The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs.

Qualifications

• Tennessee LPN license or ability to obtain license
• Current CPR
• Corrections experience not required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Shift: 5:30 pm - 6:00 am, 3 12's, rotating weekends
