Save a Lot Food Stores in Williamsport, PA is seeking a skilled Full-Time Meat Cutter to join our team. This role offers a chance to showcase craft in a community-focused grocery setting where quality and customer satisfaction come first.

Ideal candidates will have meat cutting experience, knowledge of cuts and preparation techniques, and the ability to operate cutting equipment safely while maintaining high sanitation standards. Weekend availability is required for this full-time position.

Qualifications

• Previous meat cutting or butcher experience preferred.
• Knowledge of meat cuts, grades, and preparation techniques.
• Ability to operate meat cutting equipment safely and maintain sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and prepare fresh meats including beef, pork, poultry, and specialty cuts to customer and store specifications.
• Maintain a fully stocked and visually appealing meat case throughout the day.
• Wrap, weigh, label, and price meat products accurately.
• Assist customers with meat selections, special orders, and cutting requests.
• Ensure proper rotation of product and monitor freshness and quality standards.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines in the meat department.
• Operate and maintain meat cutting equipment including band saws, grinders, and slicers.
